Brandon Saller

Brandon Kyle Saller (born June 6, 1983 in Los Angeles, California) is the drummer/singer for Atreyu, the Orange County, California metalcore band. He is engaged to Ashley Reeves. Brandon has an older brother named Ryan, and a cousin who lives in the United Kingdom.

[edit] Atreyu
Atreyu formed in 1998 in Orange County, California, rising up through the local rock scene with bands such as Avenged Sevenfold. Saller's bandmates in Atreyu are Alex Varkatzas (vocals), Dan Jacobs, Travis Miguel (guitars) and Mark McKnight (bass). Saller handles the melodic "singing" choruses, whilst Varkatzas handles the aggressive screaming.

In 2001, Atreyu released Fractures In The Facade Of Your Porcelain Beauty, an EP released on Tribunal Records. The band made their full-length debut with Suicide Notes And Butterfly Kisses, released in 2002 on Victory Records, who bought out the remainder of their Tribunal contract. The Curse was released in 2004 and was met with surprising fan- and critical response, given the polarizing nature of the metalcore scene. In 2006, "The Curse" was followed up by the band's most successful release yet, A Death Grip On Yesterday. Best of Atreyu was released in 2007 on Victory Records.

Saller spent early 2006 producing the debut album of his friends Takota. The album The Ivory Tower was released on the Ares label and features Saller on the song City Drugs.

In 2006, Saller was added to the Pearl Drums endorsers' roster. His current set utilizes 2 (and sometimes 3) 22" kick drums on his new custom set (other specs not yet available) instead of the double pedal used on his previous kits. He is known for his great vocal talent and drumming talent.
