Brandeis-Bardin Institute

The Brandeis-Bardin Insitute is a Jewish retreat in Simi Valley, located in Southern California. It is known for it's nondenominational summer programs for children, teens and young adults.

In March 2007, officials from both the Brandeis-Bardin Institute and the University of Judaism (UJ), an institution of higher education offering undergraduate and graduate degrees along with a rabbinical studies program located in Bel Air and affiliated with Conservative Judaism, announced they are merging into a new organization called the American Jewish University with UJ President Rabbi Robert Wexler at the helm.[1]

It is known for the futuristic architecture of its House of the Book that has been used as a filming location for several projects:
