Brad Newley (born February 18, 1985 in South Australia) is a professional Australian basketballer for the Townsville Crocodiles in Australia's National Basketball League.
Newley made his NBL debut in the 2004-05 season. His performances as a rookie won him both the Rookie of the Year and the Best Sixth Man awards.
He was part of the Australian National Basketball team, the Boomers, which won gold at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne. He also declared himself eligible for the 2006 NBA Draft, but withdrew prior to the deadline. He played with the Boomers at the 2006 FIBA World Championship in Japan and averaged 8.1 points per game and 2.5 rebounds per game.
Recently, Newley was selected and started in the NBL "Australian All-Star" team, which lost to the NBL "World All-Star" team on November 25th, 2006 in the 2006-07 NBL All-Star Match in Adelaide, South Australia at the Distinctive Homes Dome.
