From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Brad Neely is a comic book artist from Fort Smith, Arkansas who now resides in Austin, Texas. Mr. Neely attended the prodigious Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. He is responsible for the comic series "Creased Comics" and the unauthorized spoof of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone entitled Wizard People, Dear Reader. The latter consists of an alternate soundtrack of narration in the style of a book on tape, which viewers can play over the muted movie. Mr. Neely's describes his own retelling of Harry Potter as "razor-sharp and often very dark," much like his comics.

Neely has produced several short animations. He is the creator of a popular music video which hyper-extends the lore of George Washington. Currently Neely is creating animation shorts exclusively for SuperDeluxe.com at a rate of 1 new short every 6-10 days. His videos have included "Bible History #1", retelling the story of Sodom and Gomorrah and "Professor Brothers History Lesson #1", a JFK-themed music video similar to "Washington, Washington". His most recent video is "Bring the Gold", where a leprechaun demands that you give him your gold this Saint Patrick's Day. The shorts feature new characters including Babycakes, an overweight bald manchild, and the Professor Brothers.

One of his upcoming projects is a comedy novel about the Civil War.
