Brad (Hungarian: Brád) is a city in Hunedoara County in Romania. Its name comes from the Romanian word brad, "fir".

History The city is dated to be from 300B.C. This city was at its first a Dacia gold mine. The gold extraction industry is still present in this city.

Turism It has the most beautiful gold museum in the country and the 3'd as importance in Europe.
