[edit] Plot

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

Proud postal carrier Fred Mailmin is promoted to postmaster of Bozzlebags' ZIP code, 00001, and moves his family to an unusual and creepy town named Bozzlebags' Zip which is also a reality?/educational? television show. Though Fred, his wife Ayako, and baby Gerdy are trying to be optimistic upon arrival, Colin, his son, is frustrated when he is forced to engage in the musical activities thereof. After a few words of wisdom from Doug, a parrot, and a little coaxing from Admiral Bozzlebags, Colin learns to try living in the Zip before disliking it; and to make up with his dad as he learns just to go with it.

Spoilers end here.

[edit] Characters

[edit] Admiral Bozzlebags

A man who is often called creepy, Admiral Bozzlebags is in charge of an island called Bozzlebags' Zip. He stars in a sort of children's show under the same name as his island. He seems to be a very nice guy (once you get past the creepy part). He has a parrot named Doug who can talk. Bozzlebags can come up with a song in 10 seconds and forces others who live in his Zip to do so.

[edit] Colin Mailmin

A grumpy boy whose life was turned around when he and his family moved to Bozzlebags' Zip.

[edit] Fred Mailmin

A man who works for a mail company (he is a mailman hence the name Mailmin) that transferred him to an (imaginary?) island to work for Admiral Bozzlebags.

[edit] Ayako Mailmin

A Japanese woman who is the wife of Fred Mailmin, a man who works for a mail company that transfers him to a creepy island working for Admiral Bozzlebags. She will occasionally use Japanese linguistics.

[edit] Gerdy Mailmin

Colin's little sister. She, likes her mom and dad, enjoys Bozzlebags' show. She thinks Bozzlebags is funny.

[edit] Doug The Parrot

Admiral Bozzlebags' pet who helps Colin with his problem.
