Bozell Worldwide

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Bozell is an American advertising agency.

Bozell was founded in 1921 in Omaha, Nebraska by Leo Bozell and Morris Jacobs as Bozell & Jacobs. After changing to Bozell, Jacobs, & Kenyon, then Bozell, Jacobs, Kenyon & Eckhardt, they shortened their name to Bozell in the 1990s. Bozell is well-known for introducing memorable slogans and ads, including "Pork: The Other White Meat" and the "Milk Moustache."

They were listed by Advertising Age as the 8th-largest US agency in 1997 when they were acquired by True North, holding company for FCB. In 2001, Bozell was merged with Lowe Worldwide as part of the Interpublic Group of Companies. The employees then bought themselves out from the holding company and began as an independent shop again.

Today, Bozell is a full-service advertising and public relations agency headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska. The agency has locations in Kansas City, Little Rock, Phoenix and Denver.
