Boyne Island, Queensland

Boyne Island is a town in Queensland, Australia, 25 km south of Gladstone. It is located on the west bank of the Boyne River across from Tannum Sands. In 2001, the population of Boyne Island was 3532.[1]
Australia's largest aluminium smelter, Boyne Smelters Ltd., is located north of town.[2]
