Bowman Foster Ashe

Bowman Foster Ashe (April 3, 1885 - December 16, 1952) was a highly respected U.S. educator who served as the first president of the University of Miami.
At the University of Miami, he was inducted into the prestigious Iron Arrow Honor Society, the highest honor awarded at the university. The university's administration building, the Ashe Administration Building, is named in his honor.
