[edit] Hitler story

Can anyone offer any sort of verification, support or source for the Bouvier/Hitler story?

Not me. I spent a few minutes in a google search & all I find are identical statements of the story, so hence copied from one place to the next. Doesn't mean it isn't true, but I don't see a source for it. Elf | Talk 18:53, 26 December 2005 (UTC)

IS THERE ANY DOCUMENTATION OF THE CLAIMED HITLER INCIDENT ?

I HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO FIND ANY, AND I WROTE THE BOOK.

JIM ENGEL

Could somebody please produce verification of this Hitler nonsense or delete it ?

Now, I agree that the article needs a reference and I will look. It may indeed require removal. To be fair, your own private article stating that this is a myth is also lacking in references. --Bcsr4ever 10:23, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
As Elf said last year, the statement is all over the net with no official source. At the same time it doesn't seem to be listed as a myth or UL anywhere either, such as on snopes.com... hmm... --Bcsr4ever 10:52, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
