[edit] Synopsis
Earl is having fun with Randy at the Hotel when Joy comes in telling Earl that Jesse (Juliette Lewis) is after her. Earl goes into a flashback, showing how he met Jesse, a clerk at a Bounty Hunter company, after being brought in himself. He tells about how they got along well and that for their three week anniversary, she got him Metallica concert tickets.
However, that night, he got drunk and married Joy. He didn't want to tell Jesse what happened, because then he'd have to tell her what happened. Joy then finds the Metallica tickets, and thinks they're for their honeymoon. Earl and Joy go to concert, then back to the Crabshack, where Jesse confronts Earl. Joy, not understanding what’s going on, interjects that she and Earl are married, and proceeds to knock out Jesse's two front teeth.
Later, Jesse hears at her job that Joy has a bounty on her head ($200 for not showing up in court on a traffic ticket), and spends the next three months training to be a bounty hunter, just to take revenge on Joy. Jesse shows up at Joy's trailer park, and Joy flees, leaving Darnell to stall her.
Earl goes to talk to Jesse, but doesn’t get anywhere. Jesse then goes to Earl's place, while Earl and Joy hide out at their "summer home" (an abandoned trailer). After some difficulties, Joy decides to just turn herself in, and admits to Earl that she got him drunk and married him just so that she and the un-born Dodge could have a home.
Joy and Earl go hide in an abandoned RV in the woods. Unfortunately a gay homeless man is already living there, and insists on Joy's shoes and a 35 second hug from Earl if he is to leave.
Joy later admits to purposely getting Earl drunk and tricking him into marrying her. Joy then crosses #141 off Earl's list, and decides to turn herself in.
Jesse intercepts Joy and Earl, and challenges Joy to fight. Joy manages to defeats Jesse, citing "I watch a lot of Springer", knocking out Jesse's new gold teeth, which she takes to pay off her bounty. Jesse, defeated, begins training for the next time Joy gets a bounty on her head.
