Boulder Creek High School is a four year high school starting in 2004. It is located in Anthem, Arizona and is a 5A school in the AIA (Arizona Interscholastic Association).

Boulder Creek has an excellent women's tennis team. During the 2005-2006 school year, they placed in state, and had an almost undefeated record. As for the men's team, their current records are 9-2 for Varsity and 8-3 for JV.

Boulder Creek also boasts a superior golf team who has won several state awards and recognitions by the State of Arizona.

During the 2006-2007 school year, Boulder Creek High School(BCHS)'s Academic Decathlon team, a rookie team, took home five medals and made it to states. The medals were as follows: Elissa Thomas: Silver Honors Art, Silver Overall Art. John Doyle: Bronze Scholastic Music. Scott Berlin: Silver Scholastic Interview. Katrina Vargas: Bronze Scholastic Interview. Rosalyn McDermott is the coach, with the other 5 team members being: England, Sean Assad, Nick Resteiner, Billy Jones, and Miranda Browitt. For the state level competition, Katrina Vargas was replaced by Varsity alternate, Alan Mijes.

On March 10th, Boulder Creek High School's Academic Decathlon also took State Rookie Team of Arizona at the twenty-third annual State Competition.

Boulder Creek also has an exceptional Performing Arts Program led by Drama teacher Brandy Miller, Boulder Creeks first Mainstage Production: "Murdered Alive" opened in Fall 2005 to rave reviews, this lighthearted comedy was the first official production from the 'Boulder Creek Mainstage Players". In Spring of 2006, the Boulder Creek Mainstage Players undertook their first official school musical, teaming up with Starlight Community Theatre to perform the hit musical: "The Sound of Music". In Spring of 2006 there was another first for the Boulder Creek Performing Arts Department, the first ever Student directed Play at Boulder Creek: "Once Upon a Mattress" took the local Arts scene by storm with its crazy set design, colorful costumes, and an assortment of High School talent. The Fall 2006 season opened with a production of the dramatic comedy "The Curious Savage" which received critical acclaim and "brought down the house" with its tear jerking raw emotion and profoundly moving final scene. Boulder Creeks Spring Musical for the year 2007 was the Broadway smash hit "Little Shop of Horrors" and was a huge hit due to its foot stomping rock ballads and wide array of talent. After the success of last years student directed musical, The Boulder Creek Arts Department is now opening doors for other budding directors with their "Student Directed one-act Night" a festival of one-act plays directed by Boulder Creek Students. Members of the Boulder Creek Drama Club have also recently been inducted into the National Thespian Society, and are also planning a trip to New York City to visit Broadway and other local sights.

On February 17th, BCHS was hit with a tragedy when Junior student Ian Folkart died in a tragic car accident. Several memorials, charities, and benefits have been held in his name since, or in the process of being planned.
