This template is used to close discussion on a bot request. The shortcut {{subst:BT}} can be used in place of {{subst:Bot Top}}. Similarily {{subst:BB}} can be used in place of {{subst:Bot Bottom}}.

An example of the template without any parameters:

The template can also be used with one or two optional parameters. The first parameter is the text of one of the bot templates below. For example "{{subst:Bot Top|Approved}}" produces the following output. Valid input includes "Approved", "Trial", "Speedy", "Denied", "Withdrawn", and "Expired".

The second parameter is the name of the bot, for use in category sorting. It can be called as in the following example: "{{subst:Bot Top|Approved|rambot}}".
