Bothaville

Bothaville is a maize farming town situated on the banks of the Vals River in the Free State province of South Africa. It was established in 1891 on the Gladdedrift farm by Voortrekker JP van Wyk, who left Pretoria due to religious persecution.

Farming: Bothaville is in the Maize Traingle, thus surrounded by vast maizelands. Other agricultural activities are sheep, sunflower, wheat and ground-nuts.
