The Boston Shamrocks were a "stooge" exhibition basketball team that regularly lost kayfabe games to the Harlem Globetrotters starting in 1971. It was owned by Louis Klotz and based in Margate, New Jersey. It had no real connection to Boston or to the former football team with the same name.
