[edit] Is the image of Seleucus I Nicator correct?
You uploaded Image:Seleukos nikator.jpg. And it is being used in the article Seleucus I Nicator with the caption "bust of Seleucus I Nicator" The image file says that the image is from http://www.livius.org/l but following that link gives a different picture labeled as "Seleucus I Nicator". Also, this image looks like a picture of the same bust which is labeled here as "Bust of Attalus I, circa 200 BCE from [1] ". Can help resolve this problem? Thanks. [edit] Slovak?
Da li je Živ slovačko prezime? Luka Jačov 23:45, 23 December 2005 (UTC)
Ma ne prezivam se Živ nego Živković. Ovo je samo skraćeno. Nije slovačko, tata mi je iz Dalmacije. User:Boris Živ
Zašto mi nisi odgovorio na moj talk:)? Pa zašto nisi onda Boris Živkovič ili Bore Živ (ako čemo skračeno;)) Iz kojeg djela Dalmacije? Pretpostavljam Zadarsko ili Šibensko zaleđe. Pozdrav! Luka Jačov 22:20, 24 December 2005 (UTC) Zašto mi još nisi odgovorio:)?Luka Jačov 20:11, 29 December 2005 (UTC)
Dobivam dojam da izbjegavaš odgovorit mi :-(. Luka Jačov 19:12, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
Pa kratica je kratica! zar ne? Ma ne izbjegavam te, ali sam zatrpan... Prepravljam neke članke o hrvatskim kraljevima... Boris Živ 19:26, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
No svejedno mi još nisi odgovorio.
Hi there,
Good work on kings of Croatia! Just one thing you got wrong... Verb "to resign" means to give up, to relinquish, and verb "to reign" means to rule. I fixed your error, I'm just informing you so you know for future application. --Dijxtra 10:47, 24 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Croatian articles
Hi! I added some categories to your recent articles about Croatian nobility figures. I hope that this category tree will help you place your articles into the proper categories. Each link there is a general category. Then readers can find your articles easier. Thanks. Gilliamjf 18:53, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Trpimir
I see you copy/pasted content of Trpimir article to Trpimir I of Croatia. Now, that's wrong. If you want to change the name of the article, please use the "move" button on top of the article. --Dijxtra 19:01, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
Ok! my mistake! Sorry! --Boris Živ 19:26, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Question
Why not add Serbian language to your babel to include all ex Serbo-Croat (or Serbo-Croatian itself?) --HolyRomanEmperor 20:41, 8 January 2006 (UTC)
cool --HolyRomanEmperor 14:29, 9 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Prijezda
I don't really understand the necessity of that move. There were two Prijezdas (the 1st and the 2nd); but isn't it obvious that the Prijezda without the suphix was actually Prijezda Ist? Should we move it back? --HolyRomanEmperor 14:32, 9 January 2006 (UTC)
- Hej! pozdrav!
Što se tiče stranice History of Bosnia and Herzegovina...Idi na Talk:History of Bosnia and Herzegovina ak ti nije problem za raspravu o dijeljenju stranice (37. Separate articles). pozdrav! Boris Živ

[edit] Odgovor
--HolyRomanEmperor 23:20, 14 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image Tagging Image:Pericles1.jpg
|
Thanks for uploading Image:Pericles1.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Longhair 11:41, 3 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] False Friends of the Slavist

[edit] Re: title
Dakle, slijedeci kraljevi bosne ce svi nositi razlicite titule: Stijepan Tomas: Kralj Srba, Bosne, Primorja, Humske zemlje, Donjih Kraja, Usore, Soli, Podrinja i Zapadnih strana, Stijepan Tvrtko II: Kralj Srba, Bosne, Primorja i Humske zemlje... itd... No - svima ostaje "Kralj Bosne i Srbije" karakteristicno od Tvrtka skroz do pada Bosne. --HolyRomanEmperor 19:08, 6 March 2006 (UTC)
No - najkraca forma je "Kralj Bosne i Srbije".
I naravno da treba uvrstiti Stjepana Tvrtka I kao hrvatskoga vladara na List of rulers of Croatia. Bog! --HolyRomanEmperor 19:24, 6 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Drebbel cover.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Drebbel cover.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Thank you. Shyam (T/C) 00:14, 11 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Timur statue in Samarkand/Tashkent
The photo on the Samarkand page features a photo of a statue of Timur. The photo, however, is of a statue in Tashkent. On the discussion page of the Samarkand entry I've provided a link to a photo of the statue of Timur that actually sits in Samarkand. I don't really know how to fix this problem, so I thought I'd let you know. Thanx!

[edit] Image:Demetrius poliorcetes.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Demetrius poliorcetes.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add
{{Replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template. - On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Chowbok ☠ 02:00, 19 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Juraj Julije Klović
Hello. Go to the talk page of Juraj Julije Klović and help out with the discussion. A fanatical Italian user keeps on inserting his POV/nationalism into the article, and has now requested the page be moved to "Giorgio Giulio Clovio" - which is false as the man was a Croat and was born in Croatia. There is a vote on the rename happening on the talk page. Please help, as he is canvassing for votes from other Italian users. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 124.187.23.190 (talk) 04:41, 1 January 2007 (UTC).
