What's the true origin of the "3D" nickname. Is it his jersey number+last name or is it for defense, dishes and dunks?

-The true origin is derived from defense, dishes and dunks, according to Suns commentator Tom Leander.

-Tom Leander gave him the nickname "3D" for drives, dishes and defense, and for his name and number. At the time the nickname was given, Diaw was actually criticized for his aversion to dunking; therefore, dunking wasn't part of the 3 D's.

[edit] Name Prononciation

And how do we really pronounce his name ? in English and French... Is it Dee-Aw ? Dee-O ?—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 81.220.103.249 (talkcontribs).

It already says so in the article. J'ow. --AW 15:12, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
