Born To Try is Australian Delta Goodrem's second compilation album to be released in the United States.
It is her American debut. With cancer halting her attempt to break into the US market previously, Goodrem (who is now in remission) is ready to break into the US market with a semi-greatest hits album; in the vein of Hilary Duff's Most Wanted. Like Duff, some of Goodrem's bigger hits get remixed. Reactions to Goodrem's music in the US have so far been positive; with performances of "Lost Without You" at the Today Show, and the World Music Awards, both being positively received.
Originally intended for release in October 2005, Goodrem's CD was pushed back to January 2006 and then to later in 2006, the Sydney Morning Herald reported. [1] Goodrem was reportedly dissatisfied with the lack of airplay her new CD was receiving on U.S. radio stations.
