Born into Trouble as the Sparks Fly Upward is the sophomore album of the Canadian band The Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra and Tra-la-la Band. It was released by Constellation Records in October of 2001.
The title is most likely drawn from the King James Version of the Book of Job: “Yet man is born unto trouble, as the sparks fly upwards” (Ch. 5:7).[1] Note the change of “unto” to “into”.
The album finds the band expanding from three members to six, with a similarly expanded name.
