Born Slippy is a single by Underworld, originally released in 1995 and has never appeared on an album. The track is instrumental and features no lyrics. Despite this, it is often confused with the more popular vocal track, Born Slippy .NUXX, because of the similar name. However, they are completely different in composition and sound.

The .NUXX b-side was made famous due to its inclusion in a pivotal scene for the movie Trainspotting. It quickly became one of Underworld's best-known tracks. NUXX appeared as a bonus track on the 2-disc re-release of Second Toughest in the Infants (1996) in addition to a number of single releases, remixes and compilations.

[edit] Notes

  • Born Slippy is sometimes given the label (original) or (instrumental) to distinguish it from its much more popular b-side, Born Slippy .NUXX, which features vocals by Karl Hyde.
