Boris Giuliano

Giorgio Boris Giuliano (1930 - July 21, 1979) was a police chief from Palermo, Sicily.
During the late 1970s he was investigating drug trafficking by various members of the Sicilian Mafia, including the Corleonesi boss Salvatore Riina, as well as a series of armed robberies linked to Corso De Mille boss Fillipo Marchese. Not long before his death he attended the FBI headquarters at Quantico, Virginia at the invitation of the FBI.
On July 21, 1979 he was shot and killed by Corleonesi hitman Leoluca Bagarella while drinking a coffee in a bar waiting his driver to take him into the office early in the morning.
