Borghetto di Vara is a comune (municipality) in the Province of La Spezia in the Italian region Liguria, located about 70 km southeast of Genoa and about 15 km northwest of La Spezia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 998 and an area of 27.3 km².[1]
The municipality of Borghetto di Vara contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Boccapignone, Cassana, L'Ago, Pogliasca, Ripalta, and Termine di Roverano.
