Borggaard Beach At Wedge Pond

Borggaard Beach at Wedge Pond is the public swimming beach in Winchester, Massachusetts. Borggaard Beach is a fresh water swimming beach that is safe from high surfe and rip current. The beach does have certified lifeguard service. Swimming lessons are offered by the American Red Cross.

Borggaard Beach is located off Palmer St. next to the Packer Tennis Courts.

Borggaard Beach is not officially a nude swimming area. Everyone is expected to wear proper swimming attire. The nearest nude beach is Herring Cove in Provincetown, Massachusetts.

Memberships are required to use Borggaard Beach; they can be purchased from the town of Winchester. The cost of memberships are used to help defray the expenses of maintaining and staffing the beach.
