Bop to the Top is the seventh song in High School Musical. It is sung by Ashley Tisdale and Lucas Grabeel who play Sharpay and Ryan Evans in the film. This song is the second shortest on the High School Musical Soundtrack. It does seem to be incomplete, as in the movie, the scenes switch from the auditions to the scholastic decathlon and the finale game. This was probably done deliberately. The song starts off with Ryan and Sharpay coming out from the two sides of the stage, making their way to the middle and they end under a disco ball. Interestingly enough, Monique Coleman, star of High School Musical danced to this song during the second week of competition on the third season of Dancing With The Stars.
