I am a 59 year old woman living in Mytholmroyd in West Yorkshire. I was born in Poland but moved to the UK when I was about 25. My parents were devout Jews but I myself am an atheist.
Education was an important part of my upbringing and I decided that the way to broaden my mind was to travel. I have travelled extensively around the world and enjoy learning about different cultures and religions. I covered my living expenses through semi-professional photography.
I am new to the Internet and learning about Wikipedia by using it. I apologise if I have inadvertently done something wrong.

I have recently returned from Mansehra where I have been helping earthquake survivors. I was extremely disturbed by all that I saw there and I hope that I made a difference.

At the tender age of 59, I still have a lot that I want to do. This includes:
- Learning Sanskrit
- Walking the Great Wall of China
- Volunteer work in Africa
