Boombastic
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"Boombastic" is the title of a number-one pop single by Jamaican reggae deejay Shaggy. The hit song spent one week at number one on the U.S. R&B chart, and a similar stint atop the UK Singles Chart.
The song was featured in a 1995 Levi's advertising campaign where it gained widespread exposure. It was also used in the 2006 film, Barnyard. It sold over one million copies in the U.S. alone.
There are at least two different versions of this song. Most listeners in the U.S. may be more familiar with the version that incorporates a sample of Marvin Gaye's Let's Get It On.
