Bonyan is the name of a "Human Potential" or " Self Realization" training co-founded by Fereshteh Mirhashemi in early 1990's. It is thought to be a form of "mass brainwashing" using cult techniques to encourage the participants to sign up for higher classes and recruite or "enroll" new participants. It is copied almost entirely from the Lifespring training classes in USA and adopted in Farsi language for the Iranian community in Los Angeles, California.
