Bonarda Piemontese

Bonarda Piemontese
Origin: Italy
Notable regions: Turin

Bonarda Piemontese is a red wine grape that is grown in northwestern Italy around Turin. The grape produces a light, fruity wine that is normally served chilled.

Despite the similarities of their synonyms, the grape is not related to Charbono/Corbeau in Argentina nor the Croatina grape, which make tannic wines similar to Piedmont's Dolcetto. [1]
