Bombie the Zombie

Bombie the Zombie is a fictional character created by Carl Barks for the Walt Disney Company's Donald Duck comic books.
He first appeared in the story "Voodoo Hoodoo" in Donald Duck Four Color #238. In that story, he gave a voodoo doll to Donald Duck, thinking that Donald was Scrooge McDuck. Apparently, Bombie was sent by an evil witch doctor named Foola Zoola to get revenge on Scrooge for destroying his village a long time ago. Huey, Dewey and Louie befriended the zombie and helped him get back to Africa while Donald was there trying to find a cure for the Voodoo Curse. Despite the fact that he had been sent after Scrooge, Bombie never came in direct contact with Scrooge during this story.
In Don Rosa's The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck, Part 11, it was seen that Bombie had been stalking Scrooge for decades prior to "Voodoo Hoodoo", but Scrooge had managed to trap him on the Island of Ripan Taro. It was revealed that, in order to get Foola Zoola to sign him the land, Scrooge changed his look, unknowingly copying Donald's look. After the first time Bombie reached him, Scrooge turned back to his normal look, this keeping Bombie from recognizing him and explaining why bombie mistook Donald for Scrooge. Although this saved Scrooge from the curse, being constantly found by Bombie (thanks to Foola Zoola's magic) has already become an annoyance to the point that, when they met on Ripan Taro, Scrooge agreed to give another sorcerer the candy-stripped ruby (see The Status Seeker for more details about the ruby) in exchanged of having Bombie under a spell which kept him from tracking Scrooge for the next 17 years. Scrooge then thought Foola Zoola's magic would no longer make Bombie able to locate him after these years. Except for a few cameos, Bombie did not make any further appearances.
