"Bomber" is a song by the heavy metal band Motörhead. Released in 1979, in 7" vinyl pressings, the first 20,000 copies in blue, thereafter in black. It is covered with (B-side's) "Over The Top", a previously unreleased version. The title song is taken from the Bomber album, the song also makes an appears on the St. Valentine's Day Massacre EP.
On December 3, 1979 the band played the song on the BBC TV Top of the Pops show, to support the release of the single.[1]
On September 6, 1980 Lemmy was interviewed by Graham Neil on BBC Radio 1's 'Rock On Saturday' show, "Bomber", "Ace of Spades" and "Love Me Like A Reptile" were played.[1]
