The Bomba Dynasty[1] arose possibly from a sub-caste of the Rajpoots, aka the Rajput, from the bomba caste. The Rajputs also lived as a Hindu caste in India[2], Pakistan and Nepal.

A famous bomba raja was Assad Bashir Khan from the city of Muzaffarabad in Azad Kashmir, Pakistan.
