Bomb Squad, (now known as Suburban Legends), was a ska band from Huntington Beach, CA. They were originally known by their first name of The No-Tones but changed it to Bomb Squad due to member changes.
As Bomb Squad, they released one EP, in which they recorded at The Atomic Vault, now called Sound Arena in Garden Grove. It included Tim Maurer on vocals, and Brent Figue on guitar. This period of time, The Bomb Squad Era, only lasted a year after which they changed their name to Suburban Legends. It was the point the band started to develop, to dance and create their style of music found on their later releases. They started to show their seriousness as a band.
