"For the Bois Blanc Island commonly called Boblo Island see Bois Blanc Island (Ontario)"--actually, both Bois Blancs are commonly pronounced Boblo. What to do? –Rodii 8 July 2005 23:29 (UTC)

Can you provide any verifiable evidence that the Bois Blanc Island in Mackinac County is commonly called Boblo Island? A very quick Google search did not turn up anything. If it is only a pronunciation variation, I'm not sure how important it is to mention. I suppose if it is verifiable common to refer to both islands as Boblo Island, then that could become a disambiguation page. Otherwise it might make more sense to mention on Bois Blanc Island (Ontario) that the name of the other Bois Blanc is also sometime pronouced as Boblo. olderwiser 15:33, July 10, 2005 (UTC)
Sure! Well, I hope these count as "verifiable"—just the result of the first page of a quick google search, but representative: [1] [2] [3] (Historical marker) —Rodii 21:00, 1 August 2005 (UTC)
