Boiled Frogs is the fourth song and second single off of Alexisonfire's third studio album, Crisis.

The title of the song refers to the boiling frog theory, that states that if a frog is placed in boiling water, it will jump out, but if placed in lukewarm water with a gradually increasing temperature, it will remain in the water. The song however, is about lead singer George Pettit's father, whose boss tried to cheat him out of his pension. The heat is a metaphor to his father's workload.^[1] The video appeared on the MuchMusic Countdown in December 2006 and is still rising in the charts.
