Bohonagh

Bohonagh is a recumbent stone circle, comprising thirteen stones set at a diameter of thirty feet. Bohonagh is located 2.4 km east of Rosscarbery, County Cork, Ireland. The circle is thought to be to date from the Bronze Age, and to have originally been built as a boulder burial.
Two portal stones are set radially on an east-west axis to the recumbent stones. At just under eight feet, these stone are among the tallest of any Irish stone circle.
