Bogdan Musial

Bogdan Musial or Bogdan Musiał is German historian of Polish background[1] specializing in history of the Second World War.

Bogdan Musial was born 1960 in Wielopole. In 1985 he seeked and received political asylum in the Federal Republic of Germany, in 1992 he was naturalized. From 1990 to 1998 he studied history, political sciences and sociology in Hanover and Manchester. 1998 he graduated (his thesis was on the subjects of Jews in occupied Poland). Received scholarship from Friedrich Ebert Foundation (1991-1998). Since 1998 he is scientific coworker at German Historical Institute in Warsaw. Bogdan Musial was one the main critic of the armed forces exhibition in Hamburg Institute for Social Research.
