[edit] Why this is not a redirect

I fully realize that it is Wikipedia policy to have plural titles redirect to singular titles, and that in the vast majority of cases this is very reasonable. For instance, "Boers" should redirect to Boer, and "Wars" to War. However, since it people sometimes speak at once about both Boer Wars, without specifying them both by name, I believe that it is necessary to have a small non-redirect page here. --Smack (talk) 06:30, 20 January 2006 (UTC)
