Boeing A160 Hummingbird
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Boeing A160 Hummingbird is a helicopter class UAV. On November 5, 2005, the aircraft successfully completed its first flight test, hovering about the airfield for about half an hour.[1] The initial test version is powered by a 6-cylinder gasoline-fueled engine, and a follow-up turboshaft-powered version, the A160T, is projected to enter flight testing in the Spring of 2007. The test program is being operated from the Southern California Logistics Airport near Victorville, California.[2]
