Bodybuilding.com is a $46 million dollar online retailer/manufacturer of sports supplements and nutritional products. Bodybuilding.com was founded in 1999 in Boise, Idaho by then 21-year old CEO Ryan R. Deluca. Deluca was recently ranked No. 5 on Inc. magazine's "30 Under 30: America's Coolest Young Entrepreneurs".[1] In July 2006, Milestone Partners acquired a majority interest in Bodybuilding.com for an undisclosed amount.[2] The DeLuca family still retains substantial ownership.

Bodybuilding.com currently employs 100 workers between the Boise headquarters and a second warehouse in Florida. In 2005, Bodybuilding.com was ranked No. 230 on Inc.'s 500, a list of the nation's fastest-growing private companies.

In addition to its namesake website which is an online store with editorial content and forums related to the bodybuilding and fitness industry, Bodybuilding.com also operates Athletes.com.

Bodybuilding.com also markets its own line of sports nutrition products under the brand name Higher Power.
