Body (writing)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The body of literary piece consists of the content that is being discussed in that particular essay through paragraphs. The paragraphs provide a guide for the reader from the beginning of the piece to the end. Each paragraph is introduced with a new idea that has depth of the topic being discussed. Depending on how in-depth the topic and examples reflects on how long the body of the piece will be.

Normally, in an Essay format, the body paragraph starts with a "topic sentence" and ends with a "transitional sentence".
