Visitors' Centre

The Big Cheese is one of Australia's many "big" Roadside tourist attractions.

It is located in the Township of Bodalla on the banks of the Tuross River approximately 330 km south of Sydney on the Princes Highway [1]. The GPS coordinates for the Big Cheese are 150.04823°E, 36.08099°S.

The Big Cheese is easily seen on your left when approaching Bodalla from the North.

The Big Cheese Visitors' Centre which is part of the Bodella Cheese factory has recently closed down and the factory listed for sale. Tragically, this Australian icon may be at risk of falling into disrepair.
