Bockenheim is a district or Stadtteil of Frankfurt am Main, Hesse, Germany. It is in the west-central part of the city and covers an area of 540.1 ha. It has approximately 31,000 inhabitants, making it the most heavily populated district of Frankfurt.
Bockenheim is bordered by the Johann Wolfgang Goethe-University and the Frankfurter Messe in the south.
