[edit] About me
I was born in Dallas in 1962 and have lived most of my life in Texas. I am, by profession, a laundry manager. My hobbies include science, math, history, film criticism, poetry, classic literature and hoaxes. I am what Stephen King calls a "constant reader" and retain about 90% of what I read. I am also what Carl Sagan and magician James Randi call a professional skeptic.
After being assaulted at work in 1996, I devoted many years of my life to studying workplace bullying.
As a contributor to Wikipedia, I try to write articles that are interesting, informative and entertaining. My article on industrial laundries is, of course, written from firsthand experience: ten years operating the Laundry Department at Temple's Scott & White Hospital. When I write about other subjects, I try to have reliable references and to be well informed.
