Bobby Jones (singer)

Dr. Bobby Jones (born September 18, 1939) is a famous gospel leader and singer. Born in Henry, Tennessee, Jones is host and executive producer of cable television's only national gospel program Bobby Jones Gospel. He has been with BET since 1980 and dominates the Sunday programming on that channel. He also hosts Bobby Jones Gospel Countdown, a two-hour weekend gospel countdown show heard on American Urban Radio Networks and Bobby Jones Radio Show, heard on Sheridan Gospel Network.

He is a member of Phi Beta Sigma fraternity.
