A boat club is a sports club based around boats, especially rowing and yachting, but also canoeing, motor boats and other small boats, often for personal use and enjoyment.

A Boat Club, or Boating Club, is a members only shared use format club where members have access to a fleet of boats owned and maintained by the club.  In exchange for an annual fee the member is allowed access to the vessel, while the club handles all costs and committments for the vessel.
