Boa constructor

Boa constructor (the name is an obvious pun on boa constrictor).
One use of the term is the name of a cross platform integrated development environment (IDE) for the Python programming language. It includes a graphical user interface (GUI) builder for the wxPython toolkit.
The term also appears in the Common Lisp HyperSpec entry on Boa Lambda Lists.
The term was coined by art and culture historian Erwin Panofsky.
