Bo Norvell

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Bo Norvell (b.1943) is a Swedish philosopher and teacher whose main interest relates to thinking and the brain. He has contributed greatly to the understanding of the implications of Paul D. MacLean’s model of the triune-brain. Taking Arthur Koestler’s work, as put forward in “Janus”, a step further, he has developed a model of understanding that only has its resemblance in the works of Ken Wilber. With a sparse list of publications, to say the least, his main forum has been lectures and workshops. He was also, up until 1999 the head of (at the time) the world’s only faculty for higher learning. This faculty was, and is, concerned with the pedagogics of university teachers.
