BMH Productions (www.bmhproductions.co.uk)is an independant theatre company based in Oxford, England set up in 2005 by Edward Blagrove (London School of Musical Theatre) Emrys Matthews (Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts) and Ashley Harvey (University of Leeds) to offer diverse and cutting edge live theatre for young Adults. Their first production 'Macbeth' ran for April 2006 at St Hilda's College in Oxford to rave reviews and packed houses. Daily Information Oxford www.dailyinfo.co.uk cited it as 'Better than the RSC version'. Emrys Matthews was director with cast including Edward Blagrove (Macbeth) Elanor Fanyinka (Lady Macbeth), Ashley Harvey (Macduff) and Ben Watts (Banquo). The company then performed Ben Elton's 'Popcorn' at The Old Fire Station Theatre in Oxford operated by the Live Nation group. Popcorn became the Oxford Times 'Pick of the week' and was widly conceived as a huge success. Cast included Ahley Harvey (Bruce Delamitri) Catharine Evans (Farrah Delamitri) Emrys Matthews (Karl Brezner) Ben Watts (Wayne Hudson) Kerry Chaundy (Scout) Hannah Wilmshurst(Velvet Delamitri) Lucy Coleman (Brooke Daniels) and supporting cast including Dan Halsall and Jessica Glashier. The company has now grown into a regular feature on the Oxfordshire Theatre scene and are currently in production for the area's premier of The Full Monty in April 2007.
