first, let me stress how much good-quality criticism is important with this argumnet: criticism gives an insight understanding of a subject, because it basicaly is the research of the limitaions of the subject. In the same way, a definition of something is usually better explanatory when includes "what the thing is not" (example: what wikipedia is not); in the same way, Michael Foucault looked at the prison system, where the society "outliers" are dealt, to have a deeper understanding of the nature of society; criticism requires mental flexibility, and pedagogist Kieran Egan described it as the ironic knowledge which is reached in adulthood.

Including criticism, is therefore essential to be comprehensive.

  • sopposedly uncriticizable subjects. Who says they're not? usually it is people that would rather see any criticism or hide it in some other article. If somedoby can come up with some referenced criticism; tiny-minority rule: if it is the only criticism available, i think it should stay in the article, saying that it is a tiny minority.
