[edit] Reference conversion

I noticed you sometimes make edits such as [1], [2] and [3], where you convert from bare references to <ref>{{cite web | ...}}</ref> format. Do you have a tool to help you do this? - Samsara (talkcontribs) 11:04, 26 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Picture

Sorry to bother you but I was wondering. I want to add a picture to the Tagalog Fra Lippo Lippi page I made. I scanned the picture from their album "Light and Shade" but instead of scanning the front side of the album cover, I scanned the rear cover of the inlay booklet. Is this all right? At your convenience, you can leave your answer here or in my either of my talk pages. Thanks. Doberdog 04:13, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

If you want to illustrate the album, it is best to use the front cover. Well, you can only use the rear cover only on the article or section that is discussing the album inlay itself. --bluemask (talk) 05:23, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Bea Alonzo

Excuse me again, Bluemask. But do you know what happened to the English Bea Alonzo page? It seems to be deleted. Thanks in advance. Doberdog 00:22, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

Uh... it's still there? --bluemask (talk) 06:24, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
Yeah. Sorry about that. False alarm. I tried loading the page yesterday and what I got was a page that told me the Bea Alonzo page doesn't exist and that it might have been deleted. I checked the deletion logs and contacted the person whose name was on the log. He suggested that I purge my cache and well, the problem was solved. Again, sorry for the confusion. [edit] Phil maps are shared

Bay,

Thanks for the info. I did not know that that was already done. That means that I need not upload it myself. ;) Salamat! --Bentong Isles 11:56, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Let's vote for Mariano Trias

Hey there Bluemask! I would like to ask for your vote for the article of Mariano Trias in Wikipedia's Article Creation and Improvement Drive. It's nearing it's deadest deadline.

I believe that this article still needs a bit of clean-up and expansion. I hope you would vote for the article in this link as soon as possible.

Thanks a lot!!! ---- Kevin Ray 13:57, 17 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] For the Cause (DS9 episode)

Hi. I recently exapanded the article for For the Cause (DS9 episode), and included several sources, but they do not appear on the bottom of the article as External links, and clicking on them has no effect at all. Can you help me out here, or recommend an admin who's part of the WikiTrek Project? Thanks, and if you celebrate Christmas, then Happy Holidays. :-) —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Nightscream (talkcontribs) 06:17, 23 December 2006 (UTC).

[edit] User:Inkani's photos

I saw you've tagged one of the photos at Abahlali baseMjondolo as unsourced/no copyright info. I've been working with the user to get these tagged, and in my talk, the user said that the photos were all his. Am I right in thinking that I shouldn't tag the pictures for the user, as I can't decide for them which license to release their work under? Also, does their claiming to be the creator of the works on my talk page change their status at all? Smmurphy(Talk) 15:09, 17 February 2007 (UTC)

Let the user decide if he/she wants to release the images under a free license. If the user decise not to release them under a free license, the images will not be usable for wikipedia and will be candidates for speedy deletion. --bluemask (talk) 07:21, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Permission in an email

Hi,

I have uploaded an image for the "campaign for one million signatures." I have emailed them and they told me that I can use any of the content on their website (they are not very formal about it since copyright is not always very serious in Iran yet). I was wondering if this is enough or do you need something else. thank you --Definite 21:27, 26 February 2007 (UTC)

I am forwarding your query at the Wikipedia:Media copyright questions page. Please read the replies there. --bluemask (talk) 02:43, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
